At Black & Proud CIC, we constantly strive to foster unity, celebrate diversity, and uplift our community through meaningful projects. We’re excited to introduce our latest initiative, City United Football Club which is a vibrant new football club built on the spirit of unity and inclusion, right here in Nottingham!

The Idea Behind City United FC

Football is more than just a sport, it’s a universal language that transcends barriers of race, culture, age, and background. With this in mind, City United FC was founded by our founder Damilola Sanusi and Black And Proud CIC with passionate group of students, graduates, and locals in Nottingham united by their love of football and their commitment to making the beautiful game accessible to everyone.

The vision is clear: to create a welcoming environment where individuals from all walks of life come together to celebrate and enjoy football, while actively promoting cultural diversity and community cohesion.

What We Aim to Achieve as a grassroots football club in Nottingham

City United FC will proudly participate in:

Nottinghamshire Senior League
Nottinghamshire Junior Cup
County Senior Cup

Beyond the pitch, we aim to:

Host community-centric events like the Unity Cup, bringing people together through sport and celebration.
Engage actively with local schools and community groups, promoting both football and cultural exchange.
Maintain a robust online presence with engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, fostering a community of supporters both near and far.
