Applications Now Closed for the £20,000 SQE Access And Reinvestment Fund

We are delighted to announce that applications for the Black & Proud £20,000 SQE Access & Reinvestment Fund are now officially closed.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been inspired by the incredible response from our community. We received around 100 applications from aspiring legal professionals who are determined to make a lasting impact within the legal sector.

What Happens Next?

Our team is now carefully reviewing all submissions to ensure that every application is given thoughtful consideration. We know how much effort went into each one, and we want to take the time to assess them thoroughly.

By 30th September 2025, all applicants will be notified of their application status. Those who are successful at this stage will be invited to attend an interview as the next step in the process.

The SQE Access & Reinvestment Fund was created to help break down financial barriers and open doors for individuals from underrepresented backgrounds who are working towards qualification through the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE). By providing this support, we aim to empower future solicitors to thrive and to contribute positively to the profession and their communities.
